MassHunter WalkUp: Making the Complex Simple, Part 1

MassHunter WalkUp simplifies routine assays by allowing multiple users easy access to instrumentation. It allows lab managers to maintain a multi-instrument LC and LC/MS facility where users untrained in chromatography or mass spectrometry can run their own samples. Sample submitters merely enter sample information and select a method and any method parameters applicable to their skill level.
This webinar explores what MassHunter WalkUp can do for your lab, highlights experience from administrator and users’ perspectives for various workflows, and demonstrates ease-of-use with a live presentation and a real-world implementation.
Part 1
Introduction to MassHunter WalkUp
Presenter: Robert Ley (WalkUp Software Product Manager, Agilent)
Rob is the MassHunter WalkUp Software Product Manager. He has been with Agilent since 1997 and has held multiple roles such as a Field Service Engineer, Product Support Engineer, and Global Support Manager. He has been passionate about mass spectrometry and its powerful scientific insights since 1993.
Mass Spectrometry for the Masses, Open Access LC/MS Using MassHunter WalkUp
Presenter: Caroline S. Chu, Ph.D (LC/MS Application Scientist, Agilent)
Caroline is an LC/MS Application Scientist at Agilent for over 9 years, supporting the LC-Q/TOF, QQQ, and IM-QTOF MS and the automation platforms and workflows, including AssayMap and Rapid Fire. Caroline covers the BioPharma applications including intact proteins, native MS, glycomics, high-throughput screening and the life science applications including proteomics, targeted proteomics and metabolomics.
Live Demonstration of MassHunter WalkUp
Presenter: Robert Giuffre (LC Application Scientist, Agilent)
Bob has been working with HP/Agilent for almost thirty years as an HPLC Application Scientist. During that time Bob has worked on applications ranging from small molecule pharmaceutics to large molecule polymers to monoclonal antibodies. Currently, Bob is working on ultra-high pressure two-dimensional liquid chromatography to increase peak capacity for complex formulations. Bob has authored a chapter on the use of Diode Array Detection in Pharmaceuticals. He is currently writing a chapter on Troubleshooting Peptide and Proteins Analysis using LC-MS.
