GPC Analysis with Fraction collection using OpenLAB CDS: A practical approach to simplify further characterization of complex mixtures

Gel permeation chromatography/Size-exclusion chromatography (GPC/SEC) is used to determine molar mass averages and the complete molecular weight distribution of a sample with just one injection. It is mostly used to characterize polymers, but it is also excellent for separations of oligomers and small molecules.
This webinar will present a complete solution for an Agilent 1260 Infinity II GPC system coupled to a Fraction Collector controlled by Open LAB CDS software with integrated GPC workflows, such as data processing and GPC column calibration, for ease of use.
Since it is a non-destructive technique it can also be used to separate complex mixtures, such as heavy oils and fuels into discrete fractions, helping to better understand their composition and structure by simplifying further characterization.
