Thermo Fisher Scientific: Tips and Tricks II - Optimising LC Column Separation
Thermo Fisher Scientific: Tips and Tricks II - Optimising LC Column Separation

Building on the foundations of LC method development, this webinar explores practical strategies for optimizing chromatographic separations through smarter mobile phase selection, column selectivity, and sample handling. Learn how small changes in solvent composition, pH, buffer selection, and stationary phase chemistry can significantly improve resolution, reproducibility, and method robustness.

The session will also examine common but often overlooked causes of method variability, including mobile phase stability and sample adsorption, and share practical approaches to improving analyte recovery and overall analytical performance.

Whether you're developing new methods or troubleshooting existing ones, this webinar will provide practical insights and actionable tips to help you achieve more reliable and efficient LC separations.

Who Should Attend?

This webinar is ideal for scientists and laboratory professionals involved in liquid chromatography method development, optimization, transfer, or troubleshooting, including:

  • Analytical chemists and chromatography specialists
  • HPLC and UHPLC users
  • Pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, food, environmental, and chemical testing professionals
  • Method development, validation, and quality control scientists
  • Researchers looking to improve separation performance, analyte recovery, and method reproducibility
  • Laboratory professionals experiencing challenges related to selectivity, mobile phase selection, sample handling, or unexpected LC method variability

The session will be valuable for both newer LC users seeking practical guidance and experienced chromatographers looking to strengthen method robustness and troubleshoot difficult separations more efficiently.

Presenter: Detlev Lennartz (Product Manager, Thermo Fisher Scientific)
