Why Your Column Isn’t Always the Culprit: Smarter HPLC Troubleshooting

Unexpected changes to our chromatography often lead us to suspect the column first. But, in many cases, the true source of the problem is somewhere else in the system. In this webinar, we’ll explore some of the common chromatography issues we most often hear about as technical support specialists. Whether you’re dealing with shifts in retention time, pressure fluctuations, unexpected peaks, ghost peaks, missing peaks, or your peak shapes just don’t look right, we’ll walk through practical steps for diagnosing and resolving the problem. Having an understanding for where issues typically occur can help us to quickly identify the problem, implement the right corrective action, and prevent the problem from recurring in the future.
