During the drug development process it is necessary to track the concentration of synthesised products across a diverse range of matrices and concentration ranges. When dealing with non chromophoric compounds liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LCMS) is an ideal tool delivering a wide dynamic range for quantification and specificity for compounds even in complex matrices.

Automating the sample preparation process prior to LCMS analysis enhances precision, reproducibility, operational efficiency, and data traceability. This webinar will showcase the integration of the Andrew+ Robot, powered by the intuitive OneLab Software, as a solution for streamlining sample preparation workflows in profiling of an API intermediate.

  • Enhance their assay precision and reproducibility in addition to their operational efficiency by using the Andrew+ Robot for LC-UV-MS sample preparation.
  • Using OneLab Software to develop sample preparation methods for LC-UV-MS studies of small molecule drugs.
  • Leveraging the extensive features within OneLab Software to ensure compliance with current regulatory guidelines.

Presenter: Vincent O'Brien (Senior Research Analyst, Pfizer)

Vincent O’Brien is currently a Sr. Research Analyst at Pfizer Ireland. Since joining Pfizer in March 2024, Vincent has introduced state-of-the-art automation technologies to accelerate LC-UV-MS based impurity analysis studies of small molecule drugs. In his prior role at Henkel (2018-2024), Mr. O’Brien developed novel UHPLC-QToF-MS methods for the analysis of raw materials and finished products, supporting root cause analysis studies. Mr. O’Brien graduated with B.S. and M.S. degrees from University College Cork, Ireland.
