Maximizing Oligonucleotide Separation: Innovations in HPLC Performance

Part 1: OligoOptima: Unleash the Performance Power of Fused-Core®
Oligonucleotides are crucial in biotherapeutics, and their efficacy relies on purity and structural integrity, making robust analytical methods essential. This webinar will showcase the BIOshell™ A120 Oligo C18 column, designed for high pH stability and optimized for oligonucleotide separations using Fused-Core® particle technology. With a 120 Å pore size, this column allows for the separation of oligomers up to 60 bases and is compatible with UHPLC and mass spectrometry.
We will demonstrate its ability to achieve rapid separations of complex oligonucleotide mixtures, including 100-mer ssDNA oligomers, in under 5 minutes while maintaining high resolution. Additionally, we will discuss the Oligonucleotide HPLC Performance Mix, a versatile reference material for method development and optimization. Join us to learn how the BIOshell™ A120 Oligo C18 column can enhance your oligonucleotide workflows with exceptional efficiency and reliability.
Part 2: Sidetracks for Oligo-Analysis (SEC, AEX, MALS)
This talk explores the use of SEC and AEX for oligonucleotide analysis, highlighting the advantages and limitations of these methods. Combining SEC and AEX with MALS enables molecular weight determination and impurity profiling. Case examples illustrate how this orthogonal approach supports oligo workflows.
By attending this discussion, you will learn:
- The BIOshell™ A120 Oligo C18 INERTProve™ column for rapid, high-pH oligonucleotide separations, including complex 100-mer ssDNA mixtures in under 5 minutes.
- Size-exclusion chromatography (SEC) and anion-exchange chromatography (AEX), including how combining these methods with multi-angle light scattering (MALS) improves molecular weight determination and impurity profiling.
- Case studies illustrating the practical benefits of streamlining oligonucleotide workflows.
Who should attend?
Lab managers and technicians working with oligomer characterisations and separations using HPLC/UHPLC methods (R&D, QC, method transfer).
