IT and computing are changing dramatically, opening many opportunities to evolve informatics in the laboratory. In this session, we will discuss how the changes in technology will deliver value to laboratories and the future of laboratory informatics systems. We will also cover how different labs can take advantage of new technologies and examples of Agilent products leveraging cloud technologies and virtualization.
Presenter: William (Bill) Goodman (Director of Product Management and Strategic Marketing, Software & Informatics Division, Agilent Technologies)
Bill leads the product management team and strategy development for the OpenLab CDs and ECM products at Agilent. This team manages the product portfolio and translates evolving customer need, new technologies and broad market trends to into software capabilities, guiding Agilent’s software and informatics product road map. Bill has more than 15 years of experience in marketing, developing, and operating LC, GC, and GC-MS systems. He has worked in and closely with the environmental, food testing and contract laboratories in both technical and non-technical capacities.
