Use of Automated Electrophoresis for Quality Control of Protein Expression and Purification Steps

The production and purification of high-quality recombinant proteins is essential for many industries such as synthetic biology, biotherapeutics, and precision fermentation. As the demand for precise protein analysis grows, scientists are turning to sophisticated analytical tools to meet these stringent quality requirements. Among the tools used for precise measurement of diverse protein samples is the Agilent ProteoAnalyzer system, an automated quality control instrument.
In this webinar, Kyle Luttgeharm, Ph.D., from Agilent will discuss how the ProteoAnalyzer system significantly accelerates sample processing times. His presentation will showcase how the system is capable of analyzing multiple samples simultaneously in about half an hour, enabling rapid assessment in the protein expression and purification workflow.
Throughout his presentation, Dr. Luttgeharm will use real-world data to demonstrate how the ProteoAnalyzer can be applied across various protein production and purification steps to enhance efficiency and decision-making in diverse protein workflows.
You will learn:
- How automated protein electrophoresis can decrease time to results.
- How the robust chemistry of the ProteoAnalyzer allows for the separation of varied samples such as crude lysates and purified proteins.
- How digital data streamlines comparison of expression levels and purity value.
Valuable for those in:
- Biopharma/Pharma
- Protein research & manufacturing
- Precision fermented food proteins
- Industrial protein fermentation
