Presenter: Yonggang Liu, Ph.D. (Sr. Analytical Chemist, Tidal Vision)

Dr. Yonggang Liu is a Senior Analytical Chemist at Tidal Vision, Inc., specializing in polymer characterization and the industrial applications of chitosan. His expertise encompasses advanced separation and characterization of natural and synthetic macromolecules, as well as membrane biophysics. Prior to joining Tidal Vision, Dr. Liu served as an Associate Professor for over a decade at the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry in the Chinese Academy of Sciences, where he also received his Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry and Physics. Dr. Liu's research accomplishments are internationally recognized, including a joint appointment as Head of the Partner Group between the Max Planck Society and the Chinese Academy of Sciences during 2013-2017.
