HOW Do I Determine the Best Chromatography for My Sample
Agilent Technologies: HOW Do I Determine the Best Chromatography for My Sample
There are endless compounds of interest and many modes of HPLC chromatography with their associated columns to help analyze them. When starting the method development process, one first needs to ask, what type of sample is it that I have? Small molecule, large molecule, hydrophobic, hydrophilic, ionic, non-ionic, peptide, protein, polymer? With so many choices available, selecting the right column for your specific sample can be a daunting task.
From Reverse Phase to HILIC to Charged Surface to Chiral, Agilent has a comprehensive portfolio to help. In this webinar, we will highlight not only the different column chemistries, particle types, and the sample types they are suitable for, but will also give you some practical steps to follow so that you can be confident of your selection. Method considerations and column choices for affecting resolution, alternative selectivity, speed of analysis, and your instruments role, will also be featured.
Presenter: Jean Lane (Application Engineer, Agilent Technologies, Inc.)
Jean has been employed with Agilent since Nov 2010 in technical and applications support and has a primary role supporting Agilent’s full line of LC columns and consumables, which also includes support for Agilent’s GPC/SEC product line. She came to Agilent thru acquisition of Varian and the former Polymer Laboratories. Jean has 20 plus years of technical and applications support for both HPLC and GPC consumable products. In addition to practical chromatography experience in the laboratory, she has had many, many years in her technical role involving customer support providing assistance and troubleshooting for customer chromatography issues.
