Presenter: Dr. P.G. Shah (Chairman, FSSAI Scientific Panel on Pesticide Residues, India)
Dr. Paresh Shah, Ph.D. in Agricultural Chemicals from IARI, New Delhi, is a distinguished expert with 36 years of experience in pesticide residue research. He served as the Head of the Laboratory at the All India Network Project (AINP) on Pesticide Residue Scheme, ICAR-Unit, Anand Agricultural University, Gujarat, until his retirement in March 2021. Currently, he chairs the FSSAI Scientific Panel on Pesticide Residues, a position he has held since March 2023. Dr. Shah has published over 90 research papers in national and international journals and has led more than 300 projects for government bodies and pesticide industries. His contributions have taken him to countries like Taiwan, Japan, and the USA, where he has shared his expertise.
Presenter: Dr. Rajan Sharma (Joint Director, Research, ICAR-NDRI, Karnal, India)
Dr. Rajan Sharma is currently serving as Joint Director (Research) at ICAR-NDRI, Karnal, a position he has held since August 2023. With approximately 28 years of experience, Dr. Sharma specializes in Milk Quality, particularly Analytical Dairy Chemistry. A Fellow of the National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (NAAS) and the National Academy of Dairy Sciences, India (NADSI), he has made significant contributions to the field. Dr. Sharma has filed 15 patents, several of which have been granted, and his group at ICAR-NDRI has developed 10 technologies for the rapid detection of milk adulteration. These technologies have been successfully commercialized to 13 organizations. He has served as the major advisor for 32 students, including 21 master's and 11 doctoral candidates.
From 2020 to 2023, Dr. Sharma contributed as the Chairman of the Scientific Panel on “Methods of Sampling and Analysis” at FSSAI and is presently a Lead Assessor for NABL. To date, he has authored more than 130 research articles (h-index: 32) in various journals and has written three books. Additionally, he was invited as a visiting professor for one month at Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland, under the Erasmus Mundus Visiting Professor Scholarship Program.
Presenter: Dr. Vinay Jain (Workflow Commercialization Lead, Agilent Technologies International Pvt. Ltd.)
Dr. Vinay Jain is working as the CoE Manager and Country Food Workflow Commercialization Lead at Agilent Technologies International. He holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry and has more than 33 years of analytical and research experience in spectroscopic and mass spectrometry techniques. His specialization includes the development and validation of new analytical methods in accordance with regulatory guidelines. He has completed over 28 research projects with various national and international research and regulatory organizations. He holds two patents, has published 59 research papers, contributed two chapters to international handbooks, and authored 15 Agilent application notes. He received the Agilent TechInnovation Award in 2020 and 2022 for providing end-to-end workflow solutions. One of his innovations on LC-ICPMS was selected for the Winter Plasma Conference, and two were selected for the European Winter Plasma Conference for poster presentations.

Dr. Ramprasad has 21 years of experience in the field of Chromatography and Column chemistries. Worked for Elsevier GmbH; Germany, and Millipore India Pvt, Ltd. Presently working with Agilent technologies; India, since 2008 in Chemistries and Supplies division. Responsible for Workflow solutions development, providing technical support, and trainings for various industries of Food, Pharma, Petroleum, Bio-technology. Experienced in developing applications, LC and GC column chemistries and technologies, Sample preparation techniques, method developments and troubleshooting the problems of various chromatography technologies such as LC, GC, Mass Spectrometry, GPC/SEC, and Preparative LC.

Vikrant comes with an extensive 19 years of experience working in QA/QC, R&D and Analytical roles and an expert in various LCMS technologies. His solution-based approach has been well accepted among LCMS fraternity from Pharma and Applied market segments, since 2004. He holds an M.tech in Biotechnology, PG Dip in Bioinformatics & B. Pharm. He joined Agilent in 2010, as a Product specialist for LC/MS, after having worked with ILS Bioservices & LabIndia Instruments. His passion towards solution, brought him back to the Application role, 6 years ago.
