Yu serves as the Director of Product Management at Waters CBU, she is board certified in clinical chemistry and toxicology (NRCC-TC) and recognized as a fellow by the American Association for Clinical Chemistry (FAACC).
Yu obtained her Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences with an emphasis on LC-MS/MS as main analytical method and has served numerous IVD industry roles – from technical lab director in clinical diagnostics to product management in NPI process of mass spec medical device launching. She is experienced in product management of Mass Spec Medical Device, where she promoted the clinical use of mass spectrometry globally. She also served as CLIA lab director and was responsible for method development, validation, implementation, lab automation, and ensuring high-quality standards.
