Presenter: Kosuke Nakajima (Innovation Centre Manager, Shimadzu (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd)
Kosuke Nakajima has strong technical knowledge in separation science, particularly LC, LC/MS, and Preparative LC system. Before joining Shimadzu Asia Pacific as an Innovation Centre Manager, he was an application chemist at Shimadzu Corporation Japan, and contributed to developing some novel analytical methods. His recent research has mainly focused on Automated Method Development, Workflow enhancement for Preparative LC, and Supercritical Fluid Chromatography. He has earned his Master's in Chemistry back in 2016.
Presenter: Liw Wan Tung (Assistant Product Manager (LC/Pharma), Shimadzu (Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd)
Wan Tung, is the LC Product Manager and Pharmaceutical market in-charge at Shimadzu Asia Pacific Pte Ltd. She is the LC expert with more than 14 years of working experience in analytical science, specializing in method development of various LC and LCMS applications. In 2012, she joined Shimadzu to develop end-to-end workflow solutions for the customers. She has supported a multitude of applications from impurity analysis to drug discovery and biopharmaceutical applications. Prior to joining Shimadzu, Wan Tung started her professional career as a QAQC chemist in Pharmaceutical multinational company. Wan Tung earned her bachelor’s honour's degree in chemistry back in 2009.
Presenter: Navin Devadiga, Ph.D (Assistant Manager (Drug Discovery), Shimadzu Analytical India)
Navin Devadiga currently works as an Assistant Manager at Shimadzu Analytical India, where he focuses on method development for the analytical division in the Drug Discovery segment. With over 14 years of experience in the analytical industry, he has gained specialized knowledge in advanced analytical instrumentation, particularly in LC, Preparative LC, LC-MS, and SFC technology. His responsibilities also include providing innovative solutions to drug discovery laboratories and pharmaceutical companies through the use of advanced analytical technologies. Prior to joining Shimadzu, Navin worked as an R&D scientist at a multinational pharmaceutical company. During this time, he actively contributed to the development of analytical methods for identifying process-related impurities, degradation impurities, and genotoxic impurities in drug substances and drug products.
