Thermo Scientific: Expanding the breadth of water contaminant determinations with ion chromatography and discrete analysis
Discrete analyzers are robust, easy-to-use, and provide parallel measurement of multiple analytes in as fast as 10 minutes. Compared to traditional wet chemistry techniques, they provide equivalent or better data quality while speeding up the determination process significantly. Adding this automation to one’s laboratory workflow significantly reduces the amount of reagent used and analysts’ bench time. Ion chromatography (IC) is a well-established analytical method that expands the breadth of water analyses by offering distinct capabilities that include ultra-trace level determinations for a broad spectrum of analytes. Thermo Scientific Dionex IC Systems can be tailored to meet specific anion and cation analysis needs providing direct determination of multiple analytes in a single run and the ability to handle challenging sample matrices.
In this webinar, Timothy Traynor, Technical Specialist at Pace Analytical will present comprehensive water analysis workflows utilizing integrated discrete analyzers and Dionex IC systems and discuss their complementary benefits that offer high sensitivity, flexibility, and sample throughput, helping laboratories in Pace’s network to reduce overall cost per test and increase laboratory productivity.
Gary He, Product Marketing Manager, will also discuss the recent advances of Thermo Scientific Gallery Aqua Master Discrete Analyzers that enable more automation and better U.S. EPA compliance.
Dr. Carl Fisher, Product Marketing Manager, will conclude the session by providing a high-level overview of the tailored Thermo Scientific IC solutions that are integral to comprehensive water analysis.
