LC Hardware Troubleshooting part 2
Restek: LC Hardware Troubleshooting part 2
The HPLC instrument has been at the heart of many analytical laboratories for several decades now. Quite often analysts may be introduced to the concept of chromatography through the course of study, but it’s much less likely that the mechanics of the system will have been explored in detail. Because of this, it can be a bit daunting approaching problem solving with these instruments.
In the second webinar of this series, we will discuss how problems with your instrument may affect your chromatographic separations. Alongside this, we look to see where instrument results may be highlighting issues, and using this to narrow down potential causes of issue. Along the way there will be practical tips for things you can do to minimise potential faults.
This presentation aims to:
- Highlight how various hardware faults may impact chromatographic performance
- Show why instrument faults can occur and offer solutions to these issues
- Offer steps for troubleshooting through issues to determine issues
