Back To Basics: Fundamental Concepts of HPLC & UHPLC

Ever wondered why your chromatographic peaks do not always look the same? Why the efficiency values differ day-to-day? Or what the difference is between one C18 column and another? This webinar is intended as a first introduction to HPLC and UHPLC and is suitable for anyone who wants to gain a basic understanding of these techniques.
An outline of hardware and different modes of separation will be considered. This course will provide a good foundation from which to progress to more advanced training. A number of topics will be covered during the seminar:
Principles and history of chromatography
- Basics of the chromatographic process
- U/HPLC column chemistry
- Components of an HPLC system
- Important chromatographic parameters
Presenter: Gemma Lo
