Achieve complete confidence in your QC lab data with error-free method transfer, scaling, and operation
Waters Corporation: Achieve complete confidence in your QC lab data with error-free method transfer, scaling, and operation
In the fast-paced global economy, maintaining data quality in chromatography analysis is more difficult than ever, due to challenges with method transfer, scaling, and operation.
Many laboratories need to transfer methods around the world, which require controlling variables associated with the method, along with overcoming geographical, environmental, and linguistic differences.
Methods built on sub-2 μm particle size columns often need to be scaled to operate on the HPLC systems common to QC labs and that many QC analysts are more comfortable using.
The need to release products quickly, coupled with high staff turnover, decreases the likelihood of right-first-time results, which are critical for successful operation.
This webinar will:
- Demonstrate strategies and technology that assist in successful global method transfer
- Teach strategies to scale UPLC methods to the latest HPLC systems
- Feature the ability to reduce method operation and translation by leveraging the new Alliance iS HPLC System
Presenter: Margaret Maziarz (Principal Scientist, QA/QC, Waters Corporation)
Margaret is a Scientist based in Milford, MA. In her current role, she is responsible for development, validation, modernization, scaling, and transfer of analytical methods. She specializes in development of new applications on Waters chromatography instruments and related control software, creating technical seminar presentations, webinars, marketing collateral and demo projects to support the sales and marketing organizations globally. Before joining Waters in 2010, Margaret held various scientific positions in life sciences industry.
Presenter: Amanda Dlugasch (Senior Scientist, QA/QC, Waters Corporation)
Amanda Dlugasch is a Senior Scientist in the QA/QC Strategy and Growth Department at Waters Corporation in Milford, MA. She received her B.A. in Chemistry from Manhattanville College and her M.S. in Chemistry from Sacred Heart University. She started at Waters Corporation in the Instrument Evaluation group developing qualification protocols for newly released products. Upon transferring to the QA/QC Strategy and Growth Department, her initial focus was to evaluate and provide application and training material for the release of ACQUITY Arc UHPLC System. She studied how LC instrument design and LC system characteristics influence chromatography when transferring, scaling, and modernizing methods. Currently, she is working on evaluating the Alliance iS HPLC System.
Presenter: Debbie Francis (Principal Consulting Product Marketing Manager in QA/QC, Waters Corporation)
Debbie has worked for Waters since 2018, and has held multiple product marketing positions for Mass Spectrometry systems, and is currently Principal Consulting Product Marketing Manager in QA/QC, focusing on next generation systems, where she has been leading the commercialization of the new era of simplicity in HPLC. Debbie began her career as a scientist in clinical laboratories, before moving into marketing, and prior to joining Waters held various regional and global marketing roles within the life science industry.
