Presenter: Shahana Huq (Senior Application Scientist, Phenomenex)
Shahana W. Huq is a Senior Application Scientist focusing on emerging technologies and solutions within Clinical Research and Sample Preparation, at the Phenomenex Applications Laboratory since the year 2000. She holds an MS in Biochemistry from California State University, Los Angeles. Her work involves experimental design, analytical method development, optimization, and troubleshooting. Furthermore, she has extensive expertise in R&D product innovation and application development, as well as hands-on experience in sample preparation and LC-MS/MS. Shahana’s drive, and vision of the clinical field has motivated her to participate in various scientific publications and even as a coauthor of Phenomenex patent on sample preparation products (2006). Currently, Shahana works closely with global customers in the clinical research industry, providing technical support and consultation services as well as onsite seminars and webinars to promote peer development.
